Home > City Council > 2007 Charter Review Commission

The 2007 Charter Review Commission suggested 12 amendments to North Canton City Council for consideration. North Canton City Council has authorized legislation, requesting 7 of the 12 suggested amendments be placed on the November 6, 2007 ballot for consideration. See attached.

Ordinance No. 68-07, 69-07, 70-07, 72-07, 80-07 and 81-07 were submitted to the Stark County Board of Elections on July 11, 2007 to provide for an election on the adoption of proposed amendments to the Charter of the City of North Canton. See attached.

Attached is a copy of the official ballot language for the six proposed Charter Amendments which will appear on the November 6, 2007 general election. Anyone wishing additional information may contact the Council Office at 330.499.3986.
