Dogwood Swimming Pool

Dogwood Swimming Pool is located east of Dogwood Park at 365 Seventh Street, NE.

The pool, which has 15,000 square feet of water surface, offers a water slide and diving well.  The pool area features a spray park with dumping buckets, palm tree and spray arches for the young adventurer 8 years and under; and the main pool area consists of a 3 foot depth walk in area that transitions to a standard 5 foot pool with 50 yard lap lanes.  There is also a twin 7 foot side by side slide for the older children to enjoy.  Dogwood Pool also features two diving boards, a 4 foot height and a 12 foot height, that exit into a secure diving well to provide the safest diving experience possible for the not so timid adventurer.

The "LIFE PRESERVER" is Dogwood Pool's concession stand.  It has a variety of snacks available to satisfy almost any hungry child's needs or wants.  From hot pretzels to pizza to hotdogs, sodas or even nachos with cheese!  The "LIFE PRESERVER" is sure to please!

The grounds of "Dogwood Pool are lined with oak trees and stand alone umbrellas placed throughout the pool area so you will be sure to find a place of respite from the sun if you so desire.

Memberships are open to those living in the corporate limits of the City, or within the boundaries of the City's School District, or anyone paying City taxes last year of over One Hundred Dollars ($100) (need proof).  For those who do not have a membership, a daily pass may be purchased.

Dogwood pool opens for the 2008 season on May 27, 2008
and will end the season on August 31, 2008 

Pool hours are from 11:00AM to 8:00PM seven days a week

SWIMMING LESSONS
To be offered to members only
The first session for lessons will be June 09
The first days of screening for lessons will be on June 06 & 07
The fee for the lessons will be $35.00 per session

The NO SMOKING ORDINANCE will be strictly enforced.
